Word of Life Ministries opened its doors on November 16, 1980 in a small room within the Y.M.C.A. in High Point, NC with nine people in attendance. After less than two years in existence Word of Life was blessed with its first sanctuary on East Green Drive. Today, Word of Life is nestled on 13 acres of prime property in High Point, NC with 1200+ members. The first sanctuary at this location is a testimony of the faith, love and the grace of God. On March 19, 2000, Word of Life was blessed to open the doors to its new debt free santuary.

One of Word of Life's purposes is to spread the gospel to every creature. And in August of 2002 "The Word For Today" Broadcast begin airing on the TCT network. The broadcast has ministered to many lives in the U.S. and abroad.

Dr. Diggs has a desire for Word of Life members to live long and healthy lives. To share this committed/disciplined lifestyle, the manifestation of the new state of the art Family Life Center officially opened on October 8, 2005. Providing a place were members can go and get strengthend in spirit, soul and body.

As Word of Life has grown, so has the need for a larger worship area. In September 2011, Word of Life opened it's doors to a second state of the art sanctuary. This sanctuary is equipped to house approx. 2,000 worshippers. It also has serveral amenities to make the fellowship even better.

Word of Life is a ministry for all people. It reaches out to communities and across the nation with the message of faith and hope in our Lord Jesus Christ.
