Dr. Ronald L. Diggs is the pastor and founder of Word of Life Tabernacle, located at 1801 Deep River Rd., in High Point, NC, where he was born and raised. As a drug troubled youth, his mother’s prayers were answered and he was born again and began his walk in newness of life.

After salvation, Pastor Diggs had a hunger for the Word of God and a desire to fulfill the Great Commission to go into the world and preach the gospel. He spent many hours studying the Word of God and began ministering the Word in various homes. He later started a Bible study at a local YMCA. While attending the 1980 Believer's Convention, Pastor Diggs heard God’s voice calling him to the Pastoral ministry and the first service as Word of Life Tabernacle was held on November 16, 1980, with 3 official members.

Alongside Pastor Diggs is his wife, Pastor Joyce who was also born and raised in High Point, NC. Her mission is to support her husband as they mentor and train men and women to be skillful in applying the Word of God in their daily lives. Pastor Joyce is a faithful and compassionate woman of God who serves as an excellent role model for women of all ages. Pastors Ronald and Joyce’s weekly television broadcasts, teaching CDs and DVDs are bringing deliverance throughout world and has allowed them to build a strong prison ministry serving hundreds of men and women who end early call him “their Pastor”.

As a result of diligence and commitment of a faithful man and woman of God, the 1,200 plus congregation of Word of Life Tabernacle are not only being taught the Word of God, but are also enjoying their beautiful campus consisting of the Family Life Center (includes a full scale gymnasium and indoor track), their first sanctuary (which will become a Youth Center), and their newly constructed sanctuary (opened September 11, 2011).

Pastors Ronald and Joyce Diggs have three adult children joined to their union. They have a vision and they’re fulfilling it daily as they change the world, one soul at a time.
